Every year the Hampton Yacht Club hosts the popular Southern Bay Race Week for a combination of one-design and PHRF handicap classes. In the J/24 fleet, it was Alan Bomar’s ROUNDABOUT taking the win after seven races, accumulating three firsts and three seconds to win with 9 points net. Second was Mike Veraldi’s QUICKY with four firsts and 11 points net. Taking the bronze on the podium was Ray Nugent’s ROCKET J with 16 points net.
