The Sloop Tavern Yacht Club hosted the weekend Race to the Straits Regatta in Seattle, WA. On Saturday, the fleet heads north; Sunday, the fleet returns down south. Saturday’s racing was cancelled due to no wind, so the fleet powered north to the party. Sunday saw just enough breeze, requiring a combination of playing current versus winds to make both tactical and strategic gains. In Class 16 Doublehanded, Scott Galbraith’s J/24 FLYER won.
