Twenty-three J/24 sailing teams participated in the J/24 J-DAZE Regatta in Canandaigua, NY, an annual rite of passage. Travis Odenbach took home the honors this year with all bullets to win by a landslide on HONEYBADGER. Flip Wehrheim occupied second place due to his 8 points tally. Tom Doran’s OZ from Oswego YC was in third place with 9 points. Taking fourth was Skylar Munger’s PT BLISTER also from Oswego YC with 12 points, and fifth was a women’s crew from Portland YC in Maine: SEA BAGS WOMEN’S SAILING TEAM (Erica Beck Spenser’s crew of Emily Follett, Jess Harris, Jenny Norton Rosenbauer and Kim Calnan) with a steady scoreline of 5-5-6 for 16 points.
