The 49th annual Easter Regatta was one to remember this year. With three excellent days of warm sunshine and great wind, 19 J/24s managed to get 11 races off. With winds varying as light as 8 knots and as strong as 18 knots, plus shifts varying 45 degrees, it was true lake sailing conditions. With fantastic racing on the water, the shore side events were just as fun. Between the crowd and the epic dueling piano band, a good time was had by all. Greg Griffin’s Team Tarheel topped the fleet with 26 points, followed by Ron Medlin Jr. on Bash (33 points) and Travis Odenbach on Honey Badger (44 points).
