Mostly light winds and strong current on Puget Sound provided the backdrop for the Sperry Top-Sider Seattle NOOD Regatta, held May 16-18. One hundred ten boats competed in 17 classes, with the winning team in the 16-boat J/24 division – Chris Snow (helm), Pat Dore (tactician), Melanie Edwards (bow), Ken Monaghan (mast) and Dale Turley (trimmer) – taking the regatta’s overall title.
