The 2012 J/24 Worlds Organizing Committee presented a check for $2,500 (USD) to the Golisano Children’s Cancer Center of Rochester, New York following the recent Worlds held last September. “Once all regatta debts were paid, we were able to present a gift to this very deserving charity,” said regatta chairs Kris Werner and Lamber Lai. “It shows that J/24 Class sailors from around the world recognize and support such deserving charities as this one,” said Lambert Lai, President of the United States J/24 Class Association.
