Though early morning winds appeared promising, the breeze disappeared and never returned for the final day of the Helly Hansen National Offshore One Design (NOOD) Regatta at Marblehead Race Week July 26-29. In the nine-boat J/24 fleet, Fred Deom’s Hijack edged out the victory on a tie-breaker at 13 net points (2 -1 -1 -[7] -5 -3 -1). Christopher Clancy’s Little Martha settled for second place ([4] -3 -2 -1 -2 -2 -3). Martin Gallagher’s Shifty placed third with 20 points.
