The turnout at this year’s J/Fest Southwest at Lakewood Yacht Club was great and so was the sailing on Galveston Bay. The large J/24 fleet was won by Natalie Harden. She and her GIGGLES team posted four firsts in five races to win easily with just 6 points total. In second was Jim Freedman’s MISS CONDUCT with 18 points. Third was settled by a tie-breaker between Mark Smith’s AFTER MIDNIGHT and Barry Bailey’s TRICK BAG, won by Smith. Fifth place went to John Parker’s CHUPACABRA from Austin Yacht Club.
